Sandy Stamato - Today, there are so many possibilities open to us as we spend more time on this planet. It stirs up all sorts of questions and anxiety if we don't have a safe haven to sort it out

Hi, I'm Sandy

My mom used to say that you really don't start living till you turn 60 (Of course she said that about turning 40, 50, and 70!)

No matter the age,  I think she was onto something.

I got support. I talked to my old clients, I talked to my spiritual advisers and other coaches.

I realized that although my clients initially hired me for marketing and business help,  what they needed was a safe launching pad for their vision, passion, and what they felt called to do at this point in their lives. Hanging around on this planet for five or six decades offers a different life perspective. Life is precious and finite.

So I walked my talk. I put the stake in the ground, hung out with the anxiety and owned this next leg of my life.

Changing my title and focus from business coach to transitional coach was much harder than I realized. I was wrapped up in the word "Business". It was part of my identity. Unraveling that was the result of the three-prong program Confidence/Core/Calling I now share with my clients. It has opened up a whole new vista.

It was messy, it was uncomfortable, it was real.

Thus began a transitional phase of examing who I was at this stage of my life.

And I had plenty of time to agonize. What did I really want to do?

Who was I without "business" attached to my coaching practice?

Was I washed up in this town? The questions went on and on...

Here's my story

Over 35 years ago, when I started my career path in advertising sales, marketing, training, and business consulting, I never imagined that I would be rounding out my career as a Transitional Coach.

But, as a woman who, in her past felt like a square peg in a round hole, what I call a  Limb Dweller , it's not too surprising.

Here's what happened

I had been a marketing consultant and business coach since 2013, working with individuals and organizations. I was doing pretty well. Suddenly after a particularly busy and abundant span of work,  I found myself without any clients. Initially, I was thrilled, I needed a break. Then I started to panic. Since I started my practice I'd always had clients.

But suddenly, I had no work...for 3 months.
