Step 3 - Schedule Your Coaching
Let's roll! Starting a coaching program is a powerful commitment to yourself and your professional life. Coaching is all about sustainable change, which requires time for thought, reflection, and action. Typically, clients work with me weekly for about three months, but programs can go longer depending on your goals. For best results, one 30-minute session a week is strongly recommended. This truly allows you to have the support and accountability to step into new behaviors, mindsets, and possibilities.

These are just a few of the questions people have asked me about coaching. Feel free to reach out if you have any others.
How long do people typically work with a coach?
Every coaching program is unique to each individual and will vary in duration. True, sustainable change, which coaching is all about, requires time. Typically, clients work with me weekly for about three months, but programs can go longer depending on your goals.
Do we have to meet in person?
No. I mainly work with clients via ZOOM, a video-conferencing platform, or telephone in the interest of convenience and efficiency. A benefit of ZOOM is that we can record your sessions (optional) so you don't have to take notes and can be fully present, reviewing our sessions at a later time.
How long is a session?
Regular coaching sessions are 30 minutes long. Thirty minutes may not seem long enough to get any real work done, yet it is plenty of time. My experience is that time seems to expand magically to accommodate your process each week. It helps our sessions be super effective if you bring a question, challenges, or situation to our scheduled session. In this way, you are in the driver's seat.

My coaching offers a fresh approach.
As a Limb Dweller, we have a different way of thinking, creating, and strategizing. I get it. So, I sit on the limb with you and help you scoot over if you're feeling stuck or want to jump up onto the next branch, but fear is holding you back.
Then we make a plan and you go for it!
With Sandy’s guidance, I now have a strong foundation—especially clarity—for building out the next phase of my business. Sandy exemplifies what a great coach is: a results-oriented talent-molder who trains through observation, relevant assignments, and collaborative discussion.
